My best friend came into the city yesterday with one of our other good friends. We shopped, of course, hitting up forever 21 where i actually found the most amazing dusty nude blouse that I'm currently wearing (haha) along with some underwear. I'm obsessed with forever 21 underwear its cute and cheap and so comfortable. Maybe I'm over sharing but I think too few people know about their intimates department. The day was just so utterly needed for me mentally. And of course as the day came to a close we ended up in Central Park where I took some photos of them, and their wonderful senses of style.

In my visual communications class, the digital portion we are working on putting together color pallets. Currently I'm drawn to shades of neutrals with a few pops of color here and there. It was more fun to create than I expected, I pulled pictures with colors I found intriguing and worked from there creating a pallet. Whats more wonderful than ever is how beautifully the colors worked together. Since creating this one I've made two others, and I'm going to continue to do so, I'm realizing just how much I love making color stories and now I know how to make them into workable color pallets, with pantone numbers and all.

I love the 60's, Jackie O', Mia Farrow, Twiggy, the colors, the silhouettes. Everything about it screams perfection. And nothing about it is too outrageous that it can't come back around again. In fact we have seen the return of things from the attitude, (Occupy Wall Street protests), to the free love and feelings.

Its something I fell in love with personally last summer, (not the one that just past the one before that) although I unfortunately took until the spring to really find a proper way to pull it off; sheer clothing. And now its more than just a personal fascination, the whole world of fashion seems to be addicted to the peek a boo concept of sheer fabrics. Spring 2012 is sure to be full of "surprises', sorry I had to go there, and the best thing about these look pictured above? They all manage to do the sheer look in different and most importantly classy ways. The look is fun, and can be beautiful but it can turn trashy just as quickly, so treed lightly when you dare to jump into this trend.

Fall is my second favorite season, partially for the weather, mostly for the fashion. Everything seems more rich and alive in the fall to me. Its ironic because the trees are starting the process of losing all their leaves, a beautiful practice if you as me, and the flowers stop blooming. Anyway, I see fall full of the most beautiful rich colors of all the seasons. And of course as an added bonus, the fashion that accompanies the new weather is even more amazing. I'm personally all about layering, so the second that is a possibility you have got me hooked.  The more layers the better, Scarves and sweaters, knee highs and stockings. I love it all, layered on top of each other, all in one. The more the better. Thank god its finally starting to feel like fall.

I'm all about coral lately. I think the whole world is, or maybe I just see it everywhere because I'm obsessed. Either way though coral is all I want and all I see. I even bought my self a pair of coral pants. And I'm planning on making several more coral additions to my wardrobe. Maybe even some nail polish? All I know is that if it involves the color coral, in any way I'll most likely want it in my posession. A little too much? Maybe, do I care? Nope.
